GLA strongly believes that learning, practicing and participating in martial arts should be affordable without sacrificing quality. Martial arts should not be a financial burden, it should be affordable and accessible for everyone.

Whether you are looking to get in shape, learn self-defense, or learn the history, language, and techniques of martial arts, GLA operates through various Park Districts thereby providing an easily accessible and affordable solution to learn martial arts.

The focus of the Golden Lion Academy combines the disciplines of Tae Kwon Do, Hapki-do, Judo, Kick Boxing, Weaponry, and Kung-fu.
